Summers have never had a marketing strategy having relied on repeat and referral business throughout its trading history. The new generation of management realised that their brand had become seriously dated and the poor marketing collateral was becoming counterproductive. The challenge was to rejuvenate and modernise the brand and to creative a marketing plan that put Summers Joinery’s destiny back under their own control.
After a comprehensive period of research a brand was created using a simplified form of a woodpecker as the main icon. A supporting tagline was added – ‘Some Things Are Built To Last’ – which further strengthens the company’s passion for high-quality craftsmanship. A range of collateral was designed and produced including a brochure and this was dovetailed with a new company website. Summers Joinery are proud of their new brand and feel it now reflects the quality of the work they produce.
